Faculty & Staff Directory
The staff at Cypress Point has been selected to give each student the skills and tools needed to succeed. However, we cannot do it alone. You, as a parent, are part of the process. Please contact your child's teacher to join their Remind and stay up to date on your child's education.
Meet Our Principal
Mary Menyweather-DeWitt
It is a true privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic success and social growth. I am excited to get to know our students and form positive and supportive relationships with them. We have an amazing staff that is guided by the principle of doing what is best for students. We consider ourselves a family, and we are excited to welcome you and your student(s) into the Cypress Point family.
Assistant Principal
Welcome back to a new school year! I am excited to begin the 2026-2027 school year! For those of you that are new to Cypress Point University Elementary, I served as a CPUE teacher for ten years before moving into administration in 2016. My goal as Assistant Principal is to provide a positive and safe school environment so that your child receives the best possible academic instruction.
Curriculum Coordinator
I have been a part of the CPU family for 23 years as a Pre-K, Kindergarten and Special Education teacher. This year, I am taking on a new role as Curriculum Coordinator. I am also the 21st Century Site Coordinator in charge of afterschool tutoring and summer camp.
I am excited about the 2026-2027 school year.
