Our School
Welcome to Minnie Ruffing Elementary School! We offer opportunities as well as activities for learning experiences; and these learning experiences should promote behavioral development, which will affect continued satisfactory adjustments to life.
We believe that all students, within the limits of their capacity, should obtain an education and develop emotionally, morally, socially, and physically so that they may become increasingly able to cope with life's problems.
All teachers believe in the importance of working to the best of their abilities at all times to implement the school's program. They also believe that their students should be taught to think and do for themselves in their homes and/or work environment.

The mission of Minnie Ruffin Elementary School is to educate each child to his/her ever-increasing maximum academic and social levels.
The total staff of the school believes that teaching is a joyful service in which all members strive to keep an open mind for all that is good in education. We further believe in adapting to and accepting change for the better.
