Mr. Gary Jackson
I am Mr. Gary Jackson. I am so excited to be the principal of Madison James Foster Elementary School. I was recently principal of an elementary school in another parish, but I was a teacher in the Monroe City School System before taking on administrator roles. I m very glad to be part of the Monroe City School System again!

My name is Ms. April McLaurin
I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Madison James Elementary School. I have 19 years of experience in education. I have served as a teacher, mentor, and as a leader. As a leader, I will work to inspire both students and staff to grow through adversity, maintain high standards, and believe in their ability to succeed. I am committed to leading with integrity, visibility, collaboration, and consistency while fostering a positive school culture that supports academic achievement, strong relationships, and the success of the whole child.
